The EXFO™ TK-1-S1-RF-VPM2X-FOA-54-FTB-730-023B-EI-EUI-91 FTB-1 Fiber Test Kit is a modular platform kit that is optimized to handle FTTH and Ethernet testing applications and supports third-party applications for testing flexibility. It also comes with an integrated visual fault locator, power meter, and GeX detector. This model in particular contains the FTB-730 1310/1550 nm wavelength singlemode OTDR module with 39/37 dB power range. The FTB-1 modular platform is PC-oriented and contains an Intel ATOM processor with Windows Embedded Standard operating system. The built-in PM-1 power meter can measure at the calibrated wavelengths of 850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550, 1625, and 1650 nm. This device has a power range in dBm of between 10 and -86 for GeX and an uncertainty of up to 5%, and 8GB of storage space. The FTB-1 also supports tone detection at the 270/1000/2000 Hz ranges. The FTB-1 modular platform also supports USB, mobile, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, an EXFO fiber inspection probe connector interface, a single GigE port, two USB 2.0 ports, and a 7-inch touchscreen. The FTB-1 is also compliant with Telcordia testing standards.
This FTB-1 kit includes the main unit, FTB-730 single mode OTDR module, rigid case, neck strap, AC charger, UPC universal interface, SC connector, & CD-ROM application software.
