Part:370X613
The Ideal 61-796 Earth Ground Resistance Tester allows professional electricians to perform soil resistivity tests to determine specific grounding requirements in 3 ranges 0 20/200/2000Ω. The Earth Ground Resistance Tester will not trip ground fault breakers in the circuit under test and features a microprocessor control for complete automation of the testing process. Additional functions include auto ranging, automatic recognition of connection, data hold, and low battery indication. See SPECIFICATIONS tab for complete specs.
The Ideal™ 61-796 3-pole Earth Ground Resistance Tester is a device that is used for performing soil resistivity and ground rod resistance tests in order to determine grounding requirements for three different ranges, 20/200/2000 Ω, using 3-poles. The 61-796 uses microprocessor control at 820Hz, 2mA to completely automate procedures and will not trip ground fault breakers for tested circuits. The ground resistance tester can measure earth voltage up to 200 V AC in a 40-500Hz range with an accuracy of 2% or 0.1 Ω for resistance and 1% for voltage. This device has autoranging, automatic connection recognition, data hold, over range indication, and low battery indication. The tester contains a LCD screen and requires eight 1.5V AA batteries for use.
The Ideal™ 61-796 Earth Ground Resistance Tester includes the main unit, the TL-796 lead set kit, two auxiliary earth spikes, one simplified measurement probe, one instruction manual, and a hard carriny case.
