The FTK1-03-0904PR kit from AFL Telecommunications provides the best solutions to support fiber optic network installation, testing and maintenance. The Fujikura 70S core alignment fusion splicer operates with the shortest possible fiber splice process time - only 21 seconds (14 seconds of tube heating and 7 seconds of splicing in SM FAST mode). An automated wind protector initiating the splice process, and programmable sheath clamps reduce the time significantly. Two CMOS cameras and a 4.7" color LCD monitor offer a clear picture even in bright sunlight. The Fujikura fusion splicer is shock, water and dust resistant and compatible with the FuseConnect connectors. The Li-ion battery capacity is 200 splices/shrinks per charge. The automated and enhanced features make this fusion splicer the ideal solution for splicing single mode and multimode fiber. The portable AFL CT-30A Cleaver is designed for FTTx applications. The NOYES® FLX380-300 FlexTester3 single mode broadband network OTDR with dual wavelengths (1310/1550 nm) is applied to test installation or troubleshoot FTTx PON and point-to-point networks. It features an integrated Optical Power Meter (OPM), Optical Light Source (OLS), Visual Fault Locator (VFL) and Wave ID, which simplify measurements and reduce test time. The NOYES optical time domain reflectometer offers Full Auto and Expert OTDR modes, and > 1000 .SOR files in the internal storage. A complete analysis of the results and quick report can be made using the Windows® compatible TRM™ 2.0 Test Results Manager Software.
The Fiber Optic Connector Inspection System FOCIS-210P FOCIS PRO PC/ UPC kit is used to get an automatic analysis of fiber end-faces, save fiber images, compare before/after images, and to transfer data to a PC. It includes the DFD1 touchscreen tablet with Windows®, DFS1 Digital FiberScope and the AFL SimpleView PRO software.
The FCP2-00-0900 Cleaning Kit from AFL Telecommunications combines products that effectively clean connector end-faces on fiber jumpers and through bulkhead adapters. Network performance is maximized by using wet and dry cleaning products. Contained in a small hand held duffle bag style carrying case, this fiber cleaning kit offers FCC2 cleaning fluid, One-Click cleaners for SC, ST, FC, LC, MU and MPO connectors, FiberWipes and a Cletop SB.
