TheViavi (formerly JDSU) FI-60 Live Fiber Identifier features the ability to detect optical signal without disrupting the fiber network. It is compatible with multiple cable diameters - 250um to 3mm jacketed fibers. The FI-60 Live Fiber Identifier doubles as an optical power meter by simply removing the LFI head attachment and connecting an adapter. 345X415 The JDSU FI-60 Live Fiber Identifier with Optical Power Meter is a two-in-one device that features the ability to detect optical signal without disrupting the fiber network as well as general power meter functions. This device is capable of preventing damage to the network by utilizing the SafeChek easy-pull trigger system. The FI-60 can cover wavelengths between 780 to 1800nm and can measure power within a range of -65 to +10 dBm with a maximum of +23 dBm and a +/- 5% uncertainty. This device is compatible with multiple cable diameters - 250um to 3mm jacketed fibers and can detect tones of 270Hz, 330Hz, 1kHz, and 2kHz. By removing the LFI head attachment and connecting an adapter, the FI-60 can switch between acting as an LFI and an OPM. This device can also store data which can be downloaded to a PC via USB and can interface with FiberChek2 software for testing and reporting.
The JDSU FI-60 Live Fiber Identifier includes the main unit with removable LFI attachment, 2.5mm and 1.25mm OPM connector interfaces, USB cable, downloadable software, carrying case.
